Our client is seeking a proactive leader with an “own-it mentality” that will play an integral part in optimizing and growing the company. The responsibilities for the General Manager (GM) will be broad and include managing all operations and subcontractor relationships. The successful candidate must be exceptionally hands-on and entrepreneurial with a broad understanding of construction management and managing a large volume of multiple projects concurrently. The GM will be results-driven, solutions minded and capable of managing operational processes that ensure this organization’s continued success.
This position reports to the President/Owner
Organize resources to get things done, while using them effectively and efficiently. Set clear expectations, manage and/or create processes and procedures to ensure accountability throughout the project lifecycle. This individual must have a strong work ethic with exceptional organizational skills. It is essential that the GM builds trust within the team while keeping high performing teams performing high.
This position will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations in Michigan and Ohio including managing salespeople, creating and improving work processes, and working cross functionally with other department heads. This is a customer focused culture that takes pride in exceeding their customers’ expectations by delivering practical solutions and supreme service.
