Our client is looking for a Vice President, Finance (VP, Finance) who will be a vital senior leadership team member, playing a critical role in driving the organization toward its goals and financial success. The VP, Finance will be a strategic partner and a doer with an ownership mentality. The VP, Finance, will be detail oriented and work in an autonomous environment to manage/lead all aspects of financial and accounting activities, as well as advise on major economic objectives, policies, and opportunities, and effectively work with cross functional teams.
This position reports to the Managing Partner/Chief Investment Officer (CIO), with one direct report: Operations Manager.
The highly skilled VP, Finance will oversee all financial operations for the growing family office, ensuring optimal management of resources, compliance, and long-term financial strategy. This role will work closely with senior leadership and portfolio companies and provide data-driven insights that inform key decision-making enabling the business to seize growth opportunities, create accurate forecasts, and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, regulatory compliance, tax accounting, investment valuation, and fund accounting.
The VP, Finance will be a humble hands-on leader heavily involved in managing a complex, diversified portfolio and responsible for the day-to-day financial, operational, and accounting affairs of the company. Responsibilities will be broad and include engaging a collaborative team, as well as helping the company’s leadership build a roadmap for a successful future.
